U2 & MARY J. BLIGE ~ "ONE"

HERE'S A GOOD SONG TO COMMEMORATE THE 18TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FALL OF THE WALL IN BERLIN (9 NOVEMBER 1989):

U2 are truly a class act - arguably the best rock group in the last two decades. Bono has a powerful and theatrical voice and would make an excellent plantary statesman with his intense charisma and eloquence. The Edge is certainly well-named, always enigmatic and stylish, and his musical instincts are sharp. As for Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr - they're the best bassist and drummer combination any rock group could hope to find. Recently I saw U2's Zoo TV concert in Sydney on DVD and was blown away by the sheer spectacle and panache that went into this explosive and impeccably staged show.

Mary J Blige is simply HOT HOT HOT (and I can't imagine anybody refusing to duet with her ;-).

[My favorite amazon goddess Zora Gabrovsek sent me this video via Facebook and I decided immediately to blog it - so I can share it with other U2 appreciators, and also so I can watch it over and over again!]
