Festival of Youssou N'Dour Videos (reprise)

Here's something sweet and sexy to take your mind off the hideous stench of primate politics. Youssou N'Dour is a master of mbalax from Senegal. Mbalax is to the Senegalese what dangdut is to Indonesians, or keroncong to Malays, or reggae to Jamaicans. Youssou is a trueblue griot of his tribe. He carries the story of life in his genetics and expresses it exquisitely through his irresistible music. Youssou N'Dour is arguably the most famous African performer on Earth, having been listed by Time magazine in 2007 as among "The 100 Most Influential People In The World." Yup... there are days I wish I was Youssou N'Dour... would be so cool to sing duets with Neneh Cherry!
